Faculty Leadership
At the core of each faculty at Transatlantic University of Nigeria is a dedicated team of academic and administrative leaders. They shape the faculty’s strategic direction, uphold rigorous academic and clinical standards, and ensure excellence in teaching, research, and student experience. Their expertise and vision drive each department’s success and strengthen our mission to produce impactful, solution-driven healthcare professionals.
Dean of Faculty
Overall head of the faculty. Oversees academic quality, administration, and strategic planning.
Deputy Dean / Associate Dean
Assists the Dean in faculty management and academic oversight.
Faculty Officer
Senior administrator managing faculty-wide coordination, student records, staff matters, and scheduling.
Head of Department (HoD)
Leads an individual department under the faculty. Manages curriculum, staff, and departmental research.

Professor
Highest academic rank. Conducts advanced research, mentors postgraduate students, and lectures senior-level courses.
Associate Professor
Senior academic. Handles research, mentorship, and teaching. Often on track for full professorship.
Senior Lecturer
Teaches undergrad and postgrad classes. Often involved in departmental committees and curriculum development.
Lecturer I & II
Core teaching staff for most undergraduate courses. May assist in research and project supervision.
Assistant Lecturer
Junior teaching staff. Supports more senior lecturers and handles smaller class loads.
Graduate Assistant
Often postgraduate students who support lecturers with tutorials, grading, or lab sessions.
